Priscilla and Kyle’s story began with a “swipe right” on an online dating app in Los Angeles. She was a born-and-raised Angeleno, and he was an Oklahoma City native chasing new adventures, education, and career opportunities out west. What started as a simple match quickly turned into something truly special.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Priscilla and Kyle were put into a long-distance relationship for for a couple months, but they remained committed to each other and continued to grow their relationship.

When Kyle returned to Los Angeles, he and Priscilla made the most of their time together, enjoying life over the next couple years. During this time, Kyle had the chance to meet some of Priscilla's friends and family, including her father, Filiberto Alaniz. Sadly, Filiberto passed away in August 2023, joining Priscilla’s mother, Helen Alaniz, in heaven.

In January 2023, Kyle was offered a new job in New York City and made the move, with Priscilla following after earning her nursing license. Together, they began to explore more, taking trips to various vacation spots and attending concerts and festivals. One highlight was the return of Kyle’s favorite artist, Pretty Lights, from a long hiatus, which marked the beginning of their own personal tour across the United States. Throughout 2024, they made the most of their time living in the East Village, Manhattan immersing themselves in the city's vibrant culture, meeting new people, and growing even closer as a couple.

In December 2024, Priscilla and Kyle spent Christmas in Oklahoma with his wonderful family, making it the most unforgettable holiday of their lives. During this special time, Kyle proposed, and Priscilla happily said yes. They are now excited to begin a new chapter together.

In 2025, Priscilla & Kyle are fully embracing their “fiancé era” living it up, doing what they love most, and soaking in every moment of this joyful chapter. Calling each other “fiancé” feels extra special (even if it’s only temporary), and the excitement of becoming newlyweds grows with each passing day.

Wedding plans are officially in full swing, counting down the days until they say ‘I do!’
